We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to assist with providing high-quality care to our elderly clients.
Key responsibilities of this role may include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and mobility support
- Accompanying clients on outings for social engagement and appointments
- Providing support with household tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation
- Assisting with medication administration and management
- Performing light administrative duties such as record maintenance and reporting
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for working with the elderly and people with disabilities
- Professional or lived experience in the Aged Care sector, ideally with a relevant qualification
- Flexibility to adapt to individual client needs and priorities
- Resilience and compassion when interacting with vulnerable individuals
Preferred qualifications include a degree in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field, as well as current First Aid and CPR certificates. You must also hold a valid VIC Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
This is a contract position offering competitive hourly rates of $32.00 - $35.00 per hour. The work location is in-person, requiring flexibility and reliability.
