Job Role
Aged Care Support WorkerWe are seeking experienced professionals to provide direct support for individuals in a Centre-Based program in Melbourne. The successful candidate will promote physical and emotional well-being.
Main Responsibilities:- Developing and facilitating programs tailored to clients' needs and goals
- Providing personal care, behavioural, physical, and social supports during program delivery
- Creating a positive environment that fosters both physical and emotional well-being
Key Requirements:
- Certificate IV Disability/Aged Care or Individual Support, or currently working towards a relevant qualification
- Understanding of aged care principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and computer skills
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality services and outcomes.
Additional Needs:- National Police Check
- Valid WWCC and NDIS Clearance
- Full driver license and travel between sites required
- Ability to drive buses (11-seater)
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
