Supporting Elders in Their Own Homes

We are seeking a dedicated Care and Support Worker to join our team of passionate caregivers who make a real difference in the lives of elders living at home.

This role involves delivering high-quality care and support services to clients who require assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, household cleaning, and community access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care Services: Assist clients with showering, toileting, and mobility support as needed.
  • Household Cleaning: Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
  • Community Access: Accompany clients on outings for shopping, errands, and other activities.
  • Transportation: Transport clients to appointments and other destinations as required.
  • Communication: Engage with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Caregiving Experience: Possess knowledge of the aging process and experience caring for elders in the community.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel, work varied schedules, and adapt to changing client needs.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of service delivery and documentation.
  • Independence: Work with minimal supervision while accepting direction as required.
  • Caring Attitude: Demonstrate a patient, flexible, and professional approach to caregiving.
