We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Facilitator.

Job Description:

As a Wellbeing Facilitator, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for residents by planning and implementing various activities and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate resident-centered activities that promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and cognitive stimulation.
  • Assist residents in exploring their interests, hobbies, and passions both within the care home and beyond.
  • Foster a sense of belonging among residents by connecting them with each other through various social activities.
  • Provide emotional support to residents with cognitive impairment or mental health needs, as well as assist with daily living tasks such as mealtimes and outings.
  • Gather feedback from residents and their families to ensure that activities are relevant and enjoyable.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols.
