Strategic Workforce Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Workforce Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our Workforce Strategy & Transformation Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our workforce strategy and driving business outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that align with our business goals. You will work closely with our portfolio owners to identify and address workforce challenges, and provide expert advice on workforce development and transformation initiatives.
You will have oversight of the technical discipline of workforce strategy, ensuring its effective application and quality. This will involve collaborating with our Head of Workforce Strategy & Analytics to prioritize resourcing allocation and decision making as it relates to workforce strategy and strategic workforce planning outcomes across divisions and the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in their specialist discipline, with a proven ability to innovate and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices. They will be able to apply their expertise in novel and ambiguous contexts to problem-solve complex organizational issues, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes aligned to our mission.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Deep and extensive expertise in your specialist discipline
- Proven ability to innovate and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices
- Ability to apply expertise in novel and ambiguous contexts to problem-solve complex organizational issues
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels
We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including access to health and wellbeing services and discounts on selected products and services from ANZ.
