About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to lead the development of our workforce and management portfolio in a full-time ongoing position.

As the Lead Pharmacist - Leadership, Management and Culture, you will be responsible for managing a workforce of approximately 300 staff, both at a strategic and day-to-day level, under the leadership of the Deputy Director of Pharmacy - Workforce and Culture.

You will work to investigate new workforce models and develop IT tools and dashboards to assist in determining demand for workforce and forecast trends.

You will also work with pharmacy staff to develop initiatives to further build values and respect within and across the workforce and promote staff mental health.

  • Problem-solving and risk assessment abilities and the ability to use initiative
  • Excellent communication, time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your work and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Registered pharmacist in Australia
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or leadership and management highly desirable
  • Extensive hospital pharmacy experience in a senior leadership position, with a demonstrated understanding of contemporary practice in hospital pharmacy services
  • Experience in leading and coaching highly effective teams
  • Extensive experience in the management and development of staff
