Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Sales Strategist - Energy Transition to join our Grid Technologies business area in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in Australia, developing and implementing country sales strategies, and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement country sales strategies to increase top and bottom-line targets with potential customers and channels
  • Advocate for the Grid Technologies' interest by showing long-term commitment to customer satisfaction and securing new opportunities
  • Investigate and evaluate specific business opportunities for products, services, and solutions by analyzing mid-term investments of customers in the Australian market
  • Drive and monitor key market development programs, vertical sales development, portfolio pushes, and pricing enhancements
  • Ensure effective sales setup and coordination within Grid Technologies execution units and across Siemens Energy Business Areas
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring maximum productivity and effectiveness while promoting a culture of business excellence and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate a 'safety first' approach and live the Zero Harm culture, thinking and working safely in line with organization and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Masters or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Excellent sales experience/knowledge of common technologies related to Grid Technologies equipment such as Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, and/or AIS/GIS, and good understanding about Grid Technologies market
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales
  • Leadership experience and proven track record in people management
  • Strong set of personal skills that support building a network, developing people, culture, and organization combined with proactiveness, innovation, and partnership
  • Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges
  • Excellent business insight and a solid entrepreneurial, hands-on profile
  • EHS mentality is part of your values
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required to support the needs of the business and our customers

What We Offer
