Procurement Manager

Sugar Australia seeks a skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team and drive commercial value. Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this role will play a crucial part in delivering strategic direction and driving commercial success.

  • Lead and manage the procurement team and key categories, providing sound strategic direction.
  • Manage relationships with broader teams across procurement to deliver value.
  • Offer commercial expertise to eliminate waste and drive commercial value.
  • Understand the end-to-end supply chain for appropriate categories to identify opportunities to deliver value.
  • Deliver, analyse, and evaluate tender documentation for nominated categories.
  • Manage contract compliance and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Requirements

This role is ideally suited to someone with strong commercial awareness and leadership capabilities. You should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business/Supply Chain/Procurement.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Procurement leadership role.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven commercial and financial acumen with a focus on driving value.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and make data-driven decisions.
