Job Description:
Salary: $83,582 - $100,342 per annum, inclusive of Annual Leave Loading and Superannuation
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with participants and their support teams to develop new skills and habits, problem-solve challenges, and champion the social model of therapy. As a Developmental Educator, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that works together to deliver high-impact outcomes and enhance the quality of life for individuals with disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments using our evidence-based LEAD tool
- Liaise with the interdisciplinary team to provide wrap-around supports
- Support individuals in their everyday environments, such as home, work, school, or community
- Capacity build support teams to create capable environments
- Participate in peer group supervision, mentoring, and professional learning to grow expertise and skills
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability (or equivalent)
- Be eligible to join the DEAI membership program
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Pass the NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
