Disability Support Role
Everyday Independence is a leader in disability support, with over 40 hubs across Australia. We're seeking talented individuals to join our team as Developmental Educators in Pakenham.
About the Role
This role involves working with participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits, problem-solve challenges, and champion the social model of therapy. As a Developmental Educator, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary team, supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop person-centered support plans
- Work with participants and their teams to build strong relationships and achieve outcomes
- Provide training and coaching to support teams
- Participate in peer supervision and professional learning
- Share stories of impact and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters in Disability (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for DEAI membership
- Ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children's Check
- Valid drivers license
