About This Opportunity

There is a dynamic role available for a seasoned Project Coordinator who will play an integral part in shaping the future of Joint Data Networks across Australia.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work on a high-profile acquisition program, undertaking key responsibilities such as:

  • Assisting with day-to-day management and delivery of the program, encompassing engineering, production, and installation of the Joint Integrated Control System.
  • Managing program risk, budget, schedule, and reporting (Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)) in accordance with established processes.
  • Coordinating external resources, including vendors and support agencies.
  • Planning and coordinating program requirements and resources to meet integration objectives.
  • Preparing progress and status reports to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Delivering quality outcomes to customers and end-users throughout all phases of the program.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers through continuous and accurate communication.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a defence project management role.
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies.
  • Sound understanding of military operations across Air, Land, Maritime, Space, and Information Domains.
  • Proven ability to work effectively individually and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements.
  • Experience with planning and scheduling range availability for multiple configurations and customers.
