Job Title

Lead and Develop Quality Systems

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
About This Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our quality systems. This includes ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as overseeing environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality System Development: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

2. Environmental, Health and Safety Oversight: Oversee environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

3. Internal and External Audits: Lead internal and external audits to maintain certifications and regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 22301).

4. Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in engineering and manufacturing processes.

5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and EHS metrics.

6. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to staff on quality and safety standards.

7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and lean methodologies.

8. Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure adherence to legal and environmental obligations within the Laverton facility.

9. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead emergency preparedness, return-to-work programs, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Background: A background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.

Experience: Experience in quality assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management.

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence teams in implementing process improvements.

Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and presentation abilities.
