Senior Quality Assurance and Sustainability Specialist

The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of quality and safety systems in manufacturing.
A successful Quality & EHS Manager will drive audits, training, and sustainability across the site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
You will oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Implement quality management systems for compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures
- Lead internal and external audits for certifications and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and EHS metrics
- Provide training and guidance on quality and safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and lean methodologies
- Ensure adherence to legal and environmental obligations within the facility
- Champion sustainability efforts focused on waste reduction, reuse, and recycling
The role requires:
- A background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
- Experience in quality assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and influence teams in implementing process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Certification in quality or safety management is desirable but not essential.
