Job Overview

At Techtronic Industries, we are seeking a skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team in Mount Waverley, VIC.

About the Role

As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of safety and usability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams to advise on regulatory requirements, test plans, and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to review products and engineering samples/prototypes for regulatory/safety/usability issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain product compliance and quality within company guidelines for electrical, hand tools, accessories, and combustion engine powered products.
  • Develop and maintain compliance documentation and databases.
  • Perform product construction checks to ensure compliance and performance meets substantiated claims.
About You
  • You possess a technical background in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical, or relevant industry experience.
  • You have knowledge and passion in power tools, garden tools, and home appliances.
  • You have previous experience with product compliance and regulatory compliance from a supplier perspective.
  • You have a solid understanding of Australian consumer law and regulatory requirements.
