
AML Compliance Expert

The Financial Crime Compliance Manager will be a key appointment in our financial crime advisory team. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, you will assist the FCC team in meeting its local regulatory and global regulatory FCC obligations.
This role requires a high degree of analysis and writing skills, decision-making ability, communication and interpersonal skills. The FCC function encourages creativity, allowing for innovative approaches to tasks and achieving compliant solutions.
You will work closely with the Retail business, KYC Centre of Excellence, and KYC Operations to ensure compliance with Australian AML/CTF laws and global policies while helping the business meet its strategic objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to ING's retail business and support where required
- Implement ING's global FCC policies and maintain adequate oversight of continuous compliance
- Take a proactive stance in promoting and maintaining an effective and sustainable compliance culture
Requirements
- 8 years' experience in the financial services industry, specifically related to AML activities in retail banking
- Ability to understand complex FCC issues
- Degree in accounting, commerce, finance, or related discipline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to successfully negotiate and deal with change
