Our Tier 1 client is looking for a contractual AML Expert to commence asap on a major uplift program.

Open to Sydney/Melbourne Candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AML/CTF and Sanction Function:

  • Expert in AML/CTF regulations, compliance frameworks, risk-based assurance, and regulatory engagement.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, including AFSL and ACL, Privacy, APRA Prudential Standards, and relevant banking codes.
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance management, with a proven ability to implement and enhance compliance frameworks.
  • Review and update policies and procedures that support the compliance framework (with a focus on AML/KYC)
  • Perform gap analysis on new or updated regulatory requirements related to AML/CTF and sanctions
  • Support MLRO in decision making and BAU Trainings
  • Work closely with Line 1 Teams to define and document current AML processes and future state solutions

Other Function:

  • Assist in maintaining the compliance & legal registers
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance & legal department reports
  • Other duties assigned by the MLRO
