About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Strategy, Planning & Operations within the Rewards Business Unit. This is a critical leadership position, akin to a Chief Operating Officer, responsible for formulating business strategies and supervising the establishment and operational aspects of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall loyalty program strategy, including program economic model, and establish buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of the operational strategy and execution across key functional areas.
  • Act as the link between the Rewards strategic direction and Transurban, aligning the Rewards program with Transurban's internal business/commercial priorities.
  • Proactively identify challenges in day-to-day operations and implement solutions to drive efficiency.
  • Lead strategic, annual, and monthly budgeting, planning, accounting, and reporting activities for the Rewards program.
  • Establish and manage loyalty points and partnership accounting.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies and operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
  • Knowledge of operational best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategy, planning, and operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with managing vendor relationships.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, bias to action, and a strong ownership mindset.
  • The ability to learn quickly and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance different projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to capture, analyze, and report on operating metrics.
