Job Title: People & Culture Specialist

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Specialist to join our Brisbane office. This will be a generalist role with the ability to get involved in a broad range of P&C areas such as recruitment, people and performance management, learning and development initiatives, participation in P&C projects, policy and compliance areas.



About The Role
  • This is a mid-senior level, full-time position in Human Resources for a Law Practice.


Key Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to contribute to the success of our business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment, including managing a recruitment portfolio, sourcing and selecting top talent, and onboarding new team members.
  • People and performance management, including performance reviews, disciplinary and grievance processes, and developing strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Learning and development initiatives, including designing and delivering training programs, and partnering with stakeholders to identify and address skill gaps.
  • Participation in P&C projects, including health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, engagement, leadership development, reward and recognition.
  • Policy and compliance areas, including ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the legal sector or other professional services environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidentially.
  • Skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
