**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide timely and accurate information in response to queries by patients, doctors, visitors and other customers;
- Maintain correct compilation of patient files and records throughout admission and upon discharge;
- Accurate and timely completion and scanning of documentation;
- Perform and interpret Health Fund eligibility checks;
- Provide effective management of incoming and outgoing calls to the ward;
- Provide administrative support to relevant ward personnel as required;
- Other duties as required.

Requirements:

- Experience in previous hospital or similar administration role (preferred not essential)
- Be passionate, engaging and focused on providing exceptional customer service and sensitivity to patient & family needs
- Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and complete tasks within a designated timeframe
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft programs and Patient Management software
- Required availability Monday to Friday
