Role Overview:

Hudson Australia is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As our new team member, you will play a key role in supporting our companies Payroll team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-payroll activities: Ensure seamless processing for fortnightly & monthly pay cycles, guaranteeing timely payment to employees.
  • Query Resolution: Answer payroll-related questions and issues with accuracy and efficiency, providing expert guidance to staff and management.
  • Coordination of Benefits: Support the implementation of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvements in payroll processes, staying updated on legislative changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships across People & Culture, Finance, Tax, and vendors, fostering effective collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Essential: A minimum 1 year of experience in payroll or a related admin role, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • A flexible, enthusiastic attitude with a team-first mindset, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while prioritizing tasks.
  • Desirable: Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday, as well as a valid Police Check.
