
Senior Culinary Operations Manager

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is a world-renowned resort located on the famous Cable Beach in Broome, Western Australia. The resort offers a unique blend of relaxation and convenience with easy access to major Australian cities.
The role of Executive Sous Chef requires a balance of culinary expertise and operational management. As part of the executive team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing kitchen personnel while interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring product quality and service standards are consistently high;
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef on menu creation;
- Training and developing up to 40 employees – Chefs, Apprentices, and other kitchen staff;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant workplace health and safety requirements;
- Controlling and analyzing departmental costs;
- Developing initiatives to meet financial targets
Requirements:
- Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent;
- Experience working at middle to upper level management within a large 4 or 5 star Hotel/Resort;
- Experience working in a multi-outlet Hotel/Resort is preferred but not essential;
- A thorough knowledge of Food Safety and other workplace health and safety practices;
- A current WA motor vehicle driver's license
