We are currently seeking a highly experienced Events leader to join our team as an Events Coordinator Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering events and training across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in the Melbourne CBD with flexible working arrangements. We offer a competitive salary package of up to $110,000 + Super (dependent on experience).

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in end-to-end event management, with significant experience in event planning, marketing, management, and delivery. They will possess demonstrated stakeholder management experience, particularly engaging with senior executives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the planning and delivery of high-quality and engaging events and networking opportunities, including conferences, forums, training events, masterclasses, seminars, and local and international events.
  • Oversee, plan, and drive the entire event strategy for the year, including assisting the CEO in identifying events and training needs of members and developing/reviewing/evaluating an annual training and events calendar.
  • Budget management and reporting on events through to the CEO and further to the Board if required.
  • Develop an annual Events Marketing Strategic Plan to ensure the Association's events are marketed to the correct members and wider audience.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess a proactive can-do attitude, display initiative, and growth mindset. You will also be able to work autonomously, flexibly, and with limited direction.
