Job Title: Senior Project Manager

    We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the delivery of complex digital transformation initiatives in the education sector.

The role will involve leading cross-functional teams and overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise business solution projects, from requirements gathering through to implementation and transition to support.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in project management, specifically in enterprise solution delivery
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Expertise in project governance, planning, and risk management
  • Strong background in change management and ICT integration
  • Experience with system analysis, design, and integration
  • High-level communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (including SharePoint) and JIRA
  • Understanding of IT Service Management frameworks
  • Experience working in government sectors such as Education or Police

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage high-performing project teams
  2. Deliver complex ICT solutions aligned with strategic business outcomes
  3. Engage stakeholders across business units, vendors, and technical teams
  4. Oversee project planning, governance, risk, and issue management
  5. Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeframes
  6. Drive change management and organisational transformation
  7. Apply human-centred design principles throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Location: Darwin-based role; remote work is not available
  • Clearances Required: National Police Clearance (NPC) PF166 Clearance Working with Children (OCHRE) Card
  • Eligibility: Must have lived in Australia for the past 5 consecutive years
  • Availability: Immediate or near-immediate start preferred

  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Project governance, planning, and risk management expertise
  • Change management and ICT integration knowledge
  • System analysis, design, and integration experience
  • Microsoft tools proficiency (including SharePoint)
  • JIRA expertise
  • IT Service Management frameworks understanding
  • Government sector experience
