At Hitachi Digital, we are embarking on a transformative journey to create a best-in-class Total Rewards organization.

This ambitious project will bring together five Operating Companies across the globe, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist to join our EMEA Total Rewards team, driving total rewards projects with a strong focus on participating in the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive.

The successful candidate will provide technical and analytical support, subject matter expertise, and advice to business managers and HR professionals across multiple Operating Companies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive for 15 legal entities in 4 Operating Companies across EMEA, emphasizing compensation analysis and reporting, including gender pay and pay equity.
  • Evaluating current Total Rewards policies and programs against internal and external market best practices, recommending harmonization and alignment to ensure compliance with pay equity requirements.
  • Supporting the preparation of internal audits on existing pay equity positions for each of the 15 legal entities, identifying gaps to legislation and planning closure strategies.
  • Implementing new pay transparency reporting tools to meet individual employee requests for statements and position to peers.
  • Serving as the Total Rewards Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Romania, handling business requests for compensation and benefits management.
  • Building lasting relationships within Total Rewards, People, and key stakeholders.
  • Handling employee restructuring due to relocation, adhering to internal policies and programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with Country legislation for all Total Rewards programs and policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits in a multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HR systems, preferably WorkDay, working knowledge of Total Rewards systems and tools is a plus: Payscale MarketPay, Darwin, AskNow, job evaluation methodologies.
  • High level of proficiency in HR analytics and data interpretation.
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy.
  • Understanding and awareness of compensation and benefits trends and statutory requirements in the EMEA region and globally.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Proactivity and sense of ownership.
