Capital Works Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Lead to join our team at Northern Grampians Shire Council. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for delivering assigned projects, with a focus on buildings, sports facilities, and open space community facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to Council specifications.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, community groups, and government agencies, to achieve project outcomes.
- Financial Management: Assist with the preparation of estimates and responsible for expenditure associated with work programs in the area of responsibility.
- Quality Control: Ensure that projects are delivered to a high standard, meeting Council specifications and relevant industry standards.
- Tertiary Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing and delivering building and infrastructure projects, including sports facilities and open spaces.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
