Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Maintenance: Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including material handling systems, automation systems, and conveyor systems.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies, and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Breakdown Response: Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase equipment availability and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior maintenance technicians and other teams to achieve common goals.
Our RME team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We work together to ensure that our buildings are legally compliant and operating at maximum efficiency.
Requirements:- Formal Qualifications: Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Cert III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner)
- Experience: Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems, fault finding within material handling equipment/automation systems, and ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience of computer maintenance systems (CMMS), sortation machines, industrial environments, and maintaining/configuring barcode scanners.
