P&P Project Lead

Mauri, a business unit of George Weston Foods, is seeking a P&P Project Lead to drive the successful implementation of a transformational change project. This project aims to create a new Greenfields site and transition flour mill production from North Melbourne to Ballarat.



The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering people-related project activities, including setting up the new site for success, co-managing the closure of the current site, and strong business partnering with various stakeholders. This role will require the ability to balance Human Resources 'best practice' processes with change management/leadership skills.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Lead change management activities using structured methodologies and tools to support the adoption of changes required by the project.
  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of people-impacting communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Lead workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to solve unique challenges.
  • Partner with project stream leads to ensure synergies and alignment.


What You Will Bring:


  • Proven experience working in a similar HR Advisory/Partnering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning and delivering effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience driving the people elements of large-scale change projects.
  • A solid understanding and implementation of ER practices working within the parameters of the Site EBA, supporting a blue-collar workforce.
  • Inclusive leadership skills, enabling accountability and ownership, and proactively calling on views and input.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, multitask, pay attention to detail, and focus on safety.
