Design System Lead Opportunity at Culture Amp

Culture Amp is seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to lead the technical vision and strategy for our design system. As a key member of our Design System team, you will drive continuous improvements to design system tooling, engineering systems, and processes, ensuring seamless delivery of design system updates to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for Culture Amp's design system
  • Lead the development of design system tooling, including Storybook and codemods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design system adoption and inner source contributions
  • Coach and uplift other engineers in the team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of systems architecture and programming
  • Expertise in web platform fundamentals and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience building large-scale JavaScript/TypeScript applications and React component libraries
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
