**Part Time Therapeutic Residential Support Worker Position**

Ongoing training and professional development opportunities are available for this permanent part time role. The successful applicant will be working with children with a disability in out of home care at our new service located in Bell Park.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.
  • Using highly developed problem solving skills to address challenges.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • A current Victorian Drivers License.
  • A valid Victorian Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • An NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full vaccination status.

**Professional Development Opportunities:**

  • The opportunity to upskill and further develop your skills and experience by enrolling into a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and out of home care) as required.

**Work Schedule:**

Fortnightly roster on a Thursday to Wednesday cycle with varied shifts including sleepovers.

**Required Documents:**

  • NAMES OF TWO CONTACTABLE PROFESSIONAL REFEREES.

**Pre-Employment Requirements:**

  • The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called 'Quality, Safety and You' prior to attending induction.
