Key Responsibilities:- Lamination: Open Moulding
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Prepare moulds for lamination, applying release agents where necessary
- Gelcoat taping and assembling additional parts for mould preparation
- Accurately laminate fiberglass components to a predetermined schedule (flybridges, hardtops, hulls, decks, and small parts)
- Perform in-line inspections to minimize quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voids during the manufacturing process
- Install structural materials such as wood, aluminum flat bar, foam, and core mat according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including organizing tools and materials to avoid hazards
- Lamination: Closed Moulding
- Read and interpret technical drawings for accurate production
- Carefully inspect, clean, and assemble moulds for optimal performance
- Ensure mould prep, upkeep, and repair activities are conducted with precision
- Accurately laminate fiberglass components to a predetermined schedule (flybridges, hardtops, and small parts)
- Pack pre-cut composite fabrics into moulds for efficient lamination
- Apply vacuum bags and install vacuums and feed lines for precise control
- De-mould completed parts with care
- Conduct in-line inspections to minimize quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voids during the manufacturing process
