The Role:

As a Senior Refrigeration Technician at Elite Refrigeration, you'll be working on a variety of commercial equipment, including ice machines, blast freezers, walk-in chillers, chilled water, air handling units, VRF systems, process chillers and commercial rack systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Exceptional customer service.
  • Mentoring and leading other Technicians.
  • Refrigeration tasks, including service, installation and breakdowns.
  • Ice machine experience (desired but not essential).
  • Demonstrating expertise in rack systems (desired but not essential).
  • Air Conditioning competency (desired but not essential)
  • Taking pride in the quality of your work.
  • Being available to work on an on-call rotational roster.

Requirements:

You must meet the following requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Refrigeration Technician, preferably at Senior or Team Lead level.
  • Current manual driver's license.
  • Valid trade and ARCtick licenses.
  • Valid Qld Restricted Electrical.
  • Able to complete Police checks and hold a Blue Card.
  • QBCC Mechanical license.
  • Australian resident.
