The Role
As a Marine Technician at Seatech, your duties will include:
- Servicing & maintaining marine engines and drivetrains (mainly Volvo Penta and similar)
- Diagnosing and repairing engine & vessel systems
- Maintaining marine generators (Kohler, Onan, and others)
- Re-powering vessels
- Maintianing vessel oprating systems
- Performing on-water testing, collections, and deliveries
- Communicating clearly with both the team and customers
- Work can be performed on and offsite in marinas or at customers location
What We're Looking For
- Qualified mechanical tradesperson (marine background preferred, but other mechanical trades welcome)
- Experience with engines drivelines and 12v electrical systems
- Excellent diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic — self-motivated, reliable, and a team player
- Passion for boats and being on the water
- Valid driver's licence (boat licence a plus)
- Brisbane-based applicants are also encouraged to apply as we have plenty of clients in the area
