While marine experience is preffered we are also interested in talking with individuals from other mechanical fields such as Diesel Mechanics / Fitters and automotive mechanics that may be looking for a change

• $3000 sign on bonus payable after qualification period

As a Marine Technician at Seatech, your duties will include:

• Servicing & maintaining marine engines and drivetrains (mainly Volvo Penta and similar)
• Diagnosing and repairing engine & vessel systems
• Maintaining marine generators (Kohler, Onan, and others)
• Re-powering vessels
• Maintianing vessel oprating systems
• Performing on-water testing, collections, and deliveries
• Communicating clearly with both the team and customers
• Work can be performed on and offsite in marinas or at customers location

• Qualified mechanical tradesperson (marine background preferred, but other mechanical trades welcome)
• Experience with engines drivelines and 12v electrical systems
• Excellent diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
• Strong work ethic — self-motivated, reliable, and a team player
• Passion for boats and being on the water
• Valid driver's licence (boat licence a plus)
• Brisbane-based applicants are also encouraged to apply as we have plenty of clients in the area
