Job Title: Financial Leadership Role

This position involves leading a team of professionals to achieve strategic objectives and drive business growth through effective financial planning and management.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles. A Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent is essential, as well as significant experience working in a Chartered Accounting Practice.

Required Skills:

  • Tax Planning: Work with Partners to develop and implement tax planning strategies that add value to clients' businesses.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among team members, providing training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Lead the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed super funds.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advisory services and solutions to drive long-term growth.
  • BAS and IAS Preparation: Oversee the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG statements for various entities.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients and ensure effective communication across all levels.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Equivalent: Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Accounting Software Expertise: Possess advanced knowledge of accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail.
