Aged Care Community Leader

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a seasoned Facility Manager. As an Aged Care Community Leader, you will be responsible for leading our aged care community with a strong balance of clinical excellence, workforce leadership, and operational efficiency.

You will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment where residents receive the highest standard of care, staff feel supported and empowered, and operations run smoothly.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader who can drive continuous improvement while prioritizing the well-being of residents and staff.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents
  • Maintaining day-to-day operational performance of the facility including accreditation, financial management, staffing, and safety
  • Managing budgetary requirements and ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and followed
  • Leading the team, managing staff performance, and building a positive culture within the team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years clinical experience, ideally with 2 years of leadership experience
  • Full registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent clinical background and comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Standards
  • Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the key business drivers of aged care
  • Ability to foster a safe workplace and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
