Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for collaborating with partners and team members to ensure timely delivery of client work.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' experience in a public practice environment, with expertise using accounting software such as APS, MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail.
In this role, you will oversee the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs. You will also develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory services and solutions to add long-term value.
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
- Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
- Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value
- Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events
- Help provide exceptional service to our clients
About You:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
- Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
