The Role:

Lead an aged care community with clinical excellence, workforce leadership, and commercial acumen.

Maintain a safe and well-maintained environment where residents receive the highest standard of care, staff feel supported and empowered, and operations run efficiently.

Drive continuous improvement while prioritising resident and staff well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents
  2. Maintain operational performance of the facility, including accreditation, financial budgets, staffing, and safety
  3. Manage budgetary requirements of the facility
  4. Lead the team, manage staff performance, and build a positive culture within the team
  5. Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach while adhering to accreditation standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience, ideally 2 years of leadership experience
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent clinical background and understanding of Aged Care Standards
  • Commercial acumen and knowledge of key business drivers in aged care
  • Understanding of Aged Care Funding Instrument, Legislation, and Facility Accreditation
