Senior Accounting Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team.

Job Description:
  • As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in enabling our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value.
  • Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts.
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar.
  • Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
