About the Role
An exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of standards that promote the net benefit to the Australian community.
The Committee Manager/Project Manager's role involves actively managing all aspects of standards development, including the management of multiple technical committees and facilitating the development of standards within agreed criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development of standards and related documents through constructively managing stakeholder input
- Establish and maintain plans and information for all projects using the organisation's enterprise project management system
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed parameters
- Plan and organise meetings
- Prepare and distribute all necessary pre- and post-meeting documentation
- Achieve consensus through negotiation and conflict resolution
- Build and support working relationships with project stakeholders
- Establish new committees and review membership of existing committees as required
- Ensure stakeholder and committee records are current
- Promote and coordinate Australian participation in the development of International standards
- Manage international experts and international projects in areas of high net benefit to the Australian community
About You
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant applied industry experience
- Experience utilising project management methodologies will be highly regarded
- Experience coordinating consensus outcomes will be highly regarded
