Job Overview

The Role:

  • To ensure seamless and welcoming check-in and check-out processes for guests, providing a personalized touch that exceeds expectations.
  • Understand and cater to individual guest needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable, memorable, and tailored to their preferences.
  • To manage the daily flow of the front desk, maintaining a smooth and inviting environment that reflects our hotel's values.
  • Proficiency in front and back-office equipment, systems, and programs, including Property Management Systems like Opera Cloud.
  • To respond to guest inquiries and communications with warmth, professionalism, and a personal touch.
  • To ensure adherence to WH&S policies and procedures, guaranteeing a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.
  • To collaborate with other departments as needed to maintain exceptional standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel setting, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality.
  • A passion for exceeding guest expectations, seeking opportunities to enhance each guest's experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, connecting seamlessly with guests and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and solution-focused approach, bringing positivity to the team and handling challenges with ease.
  • A polished appearance and warm smile, embodying our commitment to hospitality.
  • Strong working knowledge of property management systems, preferably Opera Cloud.
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Current RSA and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
