Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front desk, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.

You will be responsible for:

  • Greeting guests with genuine warmth and guiding them through check-in and check-out with effortless hospitality.
  • Understanding our guests' needs and tailoring their stay to meet their expectations.
  • Leading the daily flow of the front desk, creating a smooth and welcoming environment that embodies our property's standards.
  • Being confident and proficient with all front and back-office equipment, systems, and programs.
  • Responding to guests' emails, calls, and inquiries warmly and professionally, always aiming to exceed expectations and add a personal touch to each interaction.
  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members by adhering to WH&S policies and procedures.
  • Assisting other departments when possible.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel setting with a dedication to exceptional hospitality.
  • A passion to exceed guest expectations; you naturally look for ways to enhance each guest's experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, connecting easily with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and solution-focused, bringing positivity to any team and handling challenges with ease.
  • A polished appearance and a warm smile that lights up the room, representing our hotel's commitment to hospitality.
  • A strong working knowledge of a Property Management System, preferably Opera Cloud.
  • The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A current RSA and First Aid certification are preferred but not required.
