This senior Business Development Executive role is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization at the forefront of transaction banking innovation.
Job Description:As a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Transaction Banking, you will identify and pursue high-value opportunities across corporates, financial institutions, and government-linked entities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Growth: Developing business growth strategies that drive consistent revenue expansion.
- Client Engagement: Cultivating and managing relationships with C-level executives (CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, Business Heads), delivering tailored transaction banking solutions.
- Market Insight: Monitoring industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform solution development and go-to-market strategies.
- Product Expertise: Acting as a subject matter expert in cash management, trade finance, supply chain finance, corporate lending, and digital payments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with internal teams across Relationship Management, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Technology to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Revenue Generation: Leading initiatives in thought leadership and pipeline development to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Industry Representation: Representing the organization at key industry events and forums, positioning it as a thought leader in transaction banking.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 10+ years of experience in business development roles within transaction banking.
- Strong institutional banking network with experience generating new clients in the BFSI sector.
- Proven ability to deliver bespoke solutions to large corporates and institutional clients.
- Established network of C-level contacts across Singapore and the broader APAC region.
- Expertise in digital banking, trade finance, and cash management ecosystems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially driven with a consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualifications preferred.
