We are seeking a customer service professional to join our call centre team in Townsville, Queensland.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess strong problem-solving skills.

The successful applicant will provide exceptional service to tenants by answering calls regarding maintenance issues, arranging maintenance works, and liaising with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answer tenant calls and respond to maintenance queries in a prompt and professional manner
  2. Liaise with contractors to arrange maintenance works and resolve issues
  3. Manage difficult conversations using effective de-escalation techniques
  4. Input and manage data using relevant software, databases, and tools
  5. Foster positive relationships with clients and contractors
  6. Maintain high-quality service while meeting key call centre metrics

About You:

  1. Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and phone skills
  3. Strong multitasking, time management, and decision-making abilities
  4. Confidence in resolving issues and thinking on your feet
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  6. Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Teams
