Service Advocate

We are seeking a customer service professional to join our call centre team in Townsville, Queensland.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess strong problem-solving skills.
The successful applicant will provide exceptional service to tenants by answering calls regarding maintenance issues, arranging maintenance works, and liaising with contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer tenant calls and respond to maintenance queries in a prompt and professional manner
- Liaise with contractors to arrange maintenance works and resolve issues
- Manage difficult conversations using effective de-escalation techniques
- Input and manage data using relevant software, databases, and tools
- Foster positive relationships with clients and contractors
- Maintain high-quality service while meeting key call centre metrics
About You:
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and phone skills
- Strong multitasking, time management, and decision-making abilities
- Confidence in resolving issues and thinking on your feet
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Teams
