Uniting's Mental Health and Wellbeing Services offer free and confidential support to individuals experiencing mental health concerns, along with their families and carers.

We are working towards establishing partnerships across sectors and bringing together existing community services to create an accessible and engaging community space for developing an integrated service hub of co-located help and support.

Our programs incorporate consumer-driven recovery models to collaborate with consumers in addressing their mental health needs.

As a Contracted Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric assessment and diagnosis, including taking medical history, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing tailored treatment plans.

You will maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and professional standards.

The role offers flexibility and will be based across multiple locations in Western Sydney. You will work collaboratively with various Mental Health Clinicians across our services to promote comprehensive evidence-based psychiatric care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
  • Developing customized treatment plans
  • Maintaining precise and accurate records
