Neuropsychology Specialist for Youth Mental Health

This position requires a skilled professional to lead comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, diagnoses, and interventions for young people with complex mental health challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations for IDD, ADHD, SLD, and ASD in complex cases
  • Provide tailored neuropsychological evaluations and evidence-based treatments
  • Develop and implement cognitive remediation programs and deliver group and individual therapies
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and community services to support recovery journeys
Key Qualifications:
  • Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Demonstrated expertise in neuropsychological assessment, interpretation, and report writing in child and adolescent settings
  • Demonstrated skills in evidence-based interventions and cognitive remediation treatments
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build therapeutic relationships
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
