EML is a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business. Our goal is to help individuals recover through ongoing support during their return-to-work journey.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Claims professionals from New Zealand to join our growing organisation. Every day our Claims teams help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate an injured worker's recovery through tailored support to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve optimum outcomes.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create effective Return to Work strategies.
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
  • Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
