Structural Integrity Consultant

We are seeking experienced professionals to strengthen the structural integrity team with a mix of seasoned advisors and developing engineers who can contribute to assessments, maintenance planning, and strategic asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site structural assessments to evaluate asset conditions and develop remediation scopes for structural integrity improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice on structural integrity management for critical port infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps and mentor junior engineers.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align engineering solutions with long-term asset management objectives.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.).
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies.
  • Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage the structural integrity of large-scale industrial assets.
  • FIFO flexibility within Queensland or NSW (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
