Structural Integrity Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Integrity Engineer to join our team on a major port infrastructure project in Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site structural assessments, developing remediation scopes, and providing strategic advice on structural integrity management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure, with a strong understanding of risk management and remediation strategies. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.

  • Conduct thorough on-site structural assessments to evaluate asset conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive remediation scopes for structural integrity improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice on structural integrity management for critical port infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps.
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers within the team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.).
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies.
  • Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage the structural integrity of large-scale industrial assets.
  • FIFO flexibility within Queensland or NSW (preferred but not mandatory).
