Higher Education Specialist

The Admission Advisor role is a vital position within our institution, where you will be responsible for supporting students throughout their university education. Your primary function will be to assess national and overseas qualifications in accordance with our University policies.
This involves evaluating the credentials of applicants to determine whether they meet the admission requirements for their desired course. You will need to maintain accurate records and provide advice to applicants on alternative pathways and solutions that may enable them to meet the necessary entry criteria.
A key aspect of this role is providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff members. You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Assess national and overseas qualifications in line with University policies
- Maintain knowledge and provide advice on course entry requirements, alternative solutions, and pathway courses for applicants who do not yet qualify for admission into their desired course
- Provide a customer-focused, quality evaluation and advisory service to all stakeholders on Admission requirements

- A personable and friendly disposition, with demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality customer service
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Accuracy in data entry, information retrieval, and excellent computer skills
