Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and support new courses, and contribute to research initiatives.
  2. Collaborate on external articulation arrangements, moderation processes, and academic benchmarking.
  3. Lead and coordinate scholarly activities and professional development for Higher Education staff.
  4. Assist in the annual internal audit of Higher Education operations.
  5. Work with the Dean on organisational goals, including marketing, finance, admissions, and alumni relations.
  6. Participate in student and staff orientation and graduation ceremonies.
  7. Engage in program marketing and course promotion activities.
  8. Prepare agendas and reports for various committees.
  9. Contribute to the development and renewal of academic policies and procedures.
  10. Monitor student progress and satisfaction.
  11. Conduct performance reviews of academic staff.
  12. Provide insights on academic resource management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate in Counselling or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years in managerial and teaching roles at the degree and/or post-graduate level.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning with an annual allocation of 20 hours for professional development.
