Job Summary

The role of Volunteer and Frontline Support Services encompasses the provision of business functionality for the Rural Fire Service. This includes finance, information management, governance, compliance, capital works initiatives and strategic planning.

You will be responsible for managing data to contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of operational plans and policies that ensure effective management of fire service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to statewide reporting ensuring consistency and effective resource utilisation.
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to support sound business planning and decision-making.
  • Manage and maintain data to provide high quality information for operational performance management and other reporting requirements.
  • Manage and analyse data to develop strategies to enhance operational capability.
Requirements

Highly desirable requirements include knowledge and experience in database management systems including SQL querying. Knowledge of or experience working with volunteers and/or within a volunteer organisation is also beneficial.

Special requirements include the capacity to work at night and/or weekends to suit a volunteer environment.
